SD-WAN Migration
Network transformation work moving legacy connectivity toward a more flexible SD-WAN model.
- Helped move network architecture toward a more flexible and supportable operating model.
- Required coordination across technical teams, vendors, sites, and change windows.
- Reinforced the leadership value of sequencing, communication, and operational clarity.
Large infrastructure migrations are tests of both architecture and execution. The technical destination matters, but so does the path: dependencies, change windows, fallback plans, site readiness, and stakeholder communication.
The SD-WAN work is a useful example of infrastructure leadership because it required the technical and organizational sides to move together.
Those projects shape how I think about platform work today: better abstractions are only valuable when teams can adopt and operate them.
